THE KIM LAB
Genome Editing Laboratory
We are working to develop and improve CRISPR-based genome editing technologies.
Our current research focuses on profiling and improving the genome-wide specificity of CRISPR systems such as programmable nucleases, Base editors, and Prime editors.
Major Areas of Research
-
Evaluating and enhancing target specificity of CRISPR systems
-
Genome editing for disease modeling and gene therapy
-
CRISPR screens for the identification of therapeutic targets
-
Development of a new CRISPR genome editing system
